MONDAY

MAT PILATES 

This class is perfect for a beginner who was always curious about Pilates or one who has stepped away for a while and would like to return to focus upon a better understanding of healthy movement, alignment, and posture. Expect to learn the foundational movements of Pilates on a mat using props such as balls, flex bands and rollers. This could be the beginning of your journey to develop core strength with improved balance and flexibility that will serve you well in your everyday life.

Date: Monday April 8 - May 27 (No Class: May 20)

Time:  12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

TUESDAY

BARRE

With a combination of yoga, Pilates, and ballet exercises, expect a rigorous full‐body workout! Exercises target the core, upper body, glutes, and legs. You will benefit from a killer workout, performing ballerina movements to achieve those beautifully chiseled legs! Modifications available. No dance experience required, no choreography during class. Please bring a water bottle

VINYASA FLOW 

This vinyasa flow-style yoga class focuses on linking breath with movement, while getting the heart rate up. Expect a workout during this class! Great for building upper body strength, increasing flexibility, cardiovascular health, and maintaining a lean, toned, healthy body. All levels welcome. Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle.

Date: Tuesday April 9 - June 18 

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

YIN YOGA 

This class is a combination of Yin Yoga and Self-Myofascial Release (SMR) therapy. Yin yoga includes passive and restorative postures held for longer periods of time to allow for deep opening of connective tissues. Self-Myofascial Release (SMR) is a therapeutic approach that focuses on relieving muscle pain that affects the fascia (connective tissue that covers the muscles). It is a hands-on technique that works to relax, lengthen and realign your fascia. The goal is to bring you pain relief and increase your range of motion using props such as foam rollers, tennis balls, or even lacrosse balls. This is a very popular choice for beginners or to take after a faster-paced class. It is perfect before bedtime as it helps calm the nervous system, enabling your body to relax, release, and unwind.

THURSDAY

MARTIAL ARTS - Tukong Martial Arts Special Forces Training 

 Tukong is special because we incorporate gymnastics in our lessons. This is great for students to develop strength, balance, confidence and conditioning. Stretching, boxing, kicking and patterns included in a one hour, high quality class. Lessons taught by father and two sons with many combined years of experience. Perfect indoor activity for the winter available here in East St. Paul. Register today!

** Instructor requires participants purchase a Gi (uniform)  $100.00 plus tax and pay for testing for level advancement **

1. Complete the Adult Program Registration & Informed Consent form HERE

2. Watch for the auto-response email confirming your registration

3. Once we have met the minimum number of participants to move forward with the class, you will be sent an email to send payment. Payment is due BEFORE the first class.


How do I pay?

Wait for an email requesting payment. Then choose from the payment options below:

1. E-transfer to:  recreation@eaststpaul.com   Use the password:  RECREATION

2. In-person: Cash, debit or cheque to our Operations Dept located at 2801 Gateway Rd in East St Paul. The Operations Dept is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. (Note: We are closed on Stat Holidays). Cheques can be made out to 'RM of East St Paul'

3. After hours: If you would like to pay after hours, please deposit your cheque into the grey metal drop box outside the front door of 2801 Gateway Rd. Do not leave cash.
