We will be hosting an Open House for 2025 Property Reassessment on July 2, 2024

This is an opportunity to discuss questions such as:

  • Why is my property being reassessed?
  • Will an increase in my 2025 assessment mean an increase in my property taxes?
  • Why am I getting an assessment notice now?

Where do I find my 2025 Property Assessment?

1) Via Mail - Property Assessments are mailed out by the Province of Manitoba in mid-June 2024

2) Online - As of May 2024, Manitoba's property assessment services are now digitally available. Property owners outside the City of Winnipeg can access their assessment notice by creating an account on the MyPropertyMB digital portal. 

Note: When setting up your account, you will be asked to provide your Roll Number & Client Number. This information can be found on your last Real Property Assessment Notice that was mailed to you by Assessment Services. If you have misplaced your Assessment Notice and require more help, please contact Assessment Services via email at assessmentselkirk@gov.mb.ca OR by phone at 1(204)785-5092. They can provide you with your Roll Number & Client Number in order to set up your account.

Through the portal, property owners have access to enhanced details of their property assessment, such as buildings assessed on their property, characteristics including building age, size, and features that impact the assessed value.
