Bill 33 – The Planning Amendment Act

The Province of Manitoba has introduced Bill 33, the Planning Amendment and City of Winnipeg Charter Amendment Act, which updates how land-use planning and development applications are reviewed and approved across the province. 

Bill 33 is intended to improve the planning process by increasing local decision-making authority, streamlining approvals, and clarifying the Municipal Board's role.
