Correction Notices:

  • Recycling Zone Calendar (Page 12)
    Zones 4A and 4B had an incorrect Sept-Dec recycling pickup schedule on page 12 of the information package that was delivered with the carts. The corrected Information Package is available here.
  • Garbage Zone Street List (Page 7)
    Hoddinott Road from Henderson to Raleigh was listed in an incorrect Zone on the information package that was delived with the carts. It is actually in Zone 2, The corrected Information Package is available here.

 

Placing your Carts:

Place Them - Place the carts on or next to the street or lane with the wheels against the curb or edge of the road.
Point Them - Point the arrow on the cart lid to the center of the road or lane.
Space Them - Allow 4 feet (1.2 m) on all sides of each cart to allow for the collection arm on the automated truck to grab your cart.

The Carts

Garbage Cart:
The grey garbage cart (240L capacity) holds about three regular-size garbage bags and will be picked up on a weekly basis.
Recycling Cart:
The blue recycling cart (360L capacity) holds about six regular-size blue boxes and will be picked up on a bi-weekly basis.
