Surveyor's Assistant

The Rural Municipality of East St Paul is seeking a Surveyor's Assistant in the Public Works Department.

Assisting in preliminary surveys for construction of ditches and drains
Assisting with surveys for lots with drainage problems
Assisting in setting and inspecting lot grades, house grades and swales
Assisting in sewer and water inspections

The incumbent must be able to follow oral and written instructions and possess a valid Province of Manitoba Class 5 Driver's Licence.

The term of employment will be May through September 2010 and may be extended as required. This is a unionized position with a starting wage of $11.62 per hour.

Seasonal Labourers

Rural Municipality of East St. Paul is seeking Seasonal labourers in the Public Works & Community Services Departments.

Duties include general labour, grass cutting, property clean up and other work assignments involving the maintenance of equipment and facilities. The incumbent must be able to follow oral and written instructions and possess a valid Province of Manitoba driver's Class 5 license.

The term of employment will be May through September 2010 and may be extended if required. This is a unionized position with a starting wage of $11.62 per hour.
